100% Cabernet Franc from my new Avant-Garde Vineyard in Dundee Hills.   Very aromatic with crushed black fruit, cocoa and wet slate.  This wine is all about dark flavors, from blueberry, to blackberry to dark chocolate, and none of the herbaceousness that Cab franc is somewhat infamous for.  The finish is persistent, broad and accented with black pepper, cocoa and stony minerality. Very tasty!  Best from 2026 to 2040.
Aged for 18 month in 40% new French oak barrels.
